Superstar Lionel Messi is predicted to have a higher chance of winning the Golden Ball than Kylian Mbappe, Harry Kane or Toni Kroos.
The 2023-2024 season has officially ended after the Euro and Copa have found their champions. However, the race for the 2024 Golden Ball title has not yet been decided as this year’s season has not witnessed any names truly breaking through.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored more than 50 goals last season but was not named in the Top 10 after a disappointing Euro 2024. Lautaro Martinez, the top scorer in Serie A and Copa, was also absent.
The 2024 Ballon d’Or will be based on the performance of players between August 1, 2023 and July 31, 2024. The list of nominees for the award will be announced on September 4. The award ceremony will take place on October 28.
